Eman Elshahat is currently a fifth year architectural engineering student, at The Pennsylvania State Universty who is currently working on her thesis project and looking forward to graduating in May 2017. Eman passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam on March 18th which will qualify her for EIT status upon graduation. She plans on working at an engineering firm as well as pursuing her PE license.

During the summer of 2016, Eman got to practice and improve her computer modeling skills through an engineering internship with Elalem energy, LLC, which was her first engineering internship in her professional career.

Eman is also a member of SEA (structural engineering association) at Penn State, which allowed her to attend the 2016 NASCC in Orlando, Florida, and multiple steel days in Pennsylvania. These events helped Eman build her communication skills. Away from academic life, Eman likes to draw, walk, and cook.
